Over the last twenty years, Stephan has been in a variety of regional or global leadership positions in technical sales, professional services, business development and product strategy at several industry-leading software vendors in the MDM, CRM, SCM, analytics and MRO space.
Today, Stephan is the creative and execution engine behind Informatica’s Infonomics and IT Business Consulting practice. His mission is to connect and translate technical challenges into strategic financial outcomes appreciated by business executives. He also leads Informatica’s go-to-market effort for the manufacturing, automotive and energy sectors.
Prior to Informatica, Stephan was responsible for managing IBM’s MDM and industry data warehouse model portfolio strategy for a variety of sectors. He has been published numerous times during his time at IBM and Informatica, including a set of academic papers through AIS, and continues to push the boundaries of data management forward.
Stephan holds a master’s degree in economic policy from George Washington University. Having grown up in Austria, he is an avid skier but also enjoys Kendo and hunting.
