Informatica Recognized as the Best Solution Award for Driving Customer Insights at Cloudera’s annual Partner Summit

I’m excited to share that Informatica was recently recognized as the Best Solution to ‘Drive Customer Insights’ at Cloudera’s 6th annual Partner Summit, held on September 10, 2018 in New York City!

The Award

The partner award recognizes the strong collaboration and unified focus between Informatica and Cloudera to help drive greater customer value and impact through joint solutions built on Cloudera’s machine learning and analytics platform.

We submitted the implementation success story from our joint Informatica-Cloudera customer, Lippo Digital Group, for consideration of the Data Impact Award in the ‘Grow Your Business’ category.  Lippo is a real estate development company based in Indonesia and one of Asia’s largest conglomerates. Lippo was also amongst the 2018 Innovation Award winners during Informatica’s annual user conference Informatica World 2018.

Lippo Group Solution Highlights

Lippo embarked on a journey to deliver a real-time digital concierge service to its customers by gaining a 360-degree view of its customer’s profile and journey, including understanding their preferences, buying behavior, geo-location, movement etc. both online and offline.

The initiative entailed capturing and consolidating disparate transactional data from across all business segments and their subsidiaries (about 34) into a centralized platform for deeper analysis.  The goal was to obtain a comprehensive view about customers in order to deliver relevant and actionable personalized offers in real-time as well as be able execute cross-sell/upsell opportunities effectively.

Lippo began their first phase of implementation with Informatica Big Data Management and Cloudera Enterprise as the distribution system to store and cleanse mass amounts of both structured and unstructured data sets.  Additional phases are in the works to achieve their grand vision to transform how they market or make offers to their customers in real time while they are physically or virtually engaging with Lippo’s businesses.
