Informatica: A Data Quality Leader According to Gartner for 11th Year
Twelve years ago, we started a journey. One that was focused on ensuring that our customers could exceed their business goals by having trusted, governed data using a leading data quality product at the center of it all. In our first year on the market, Informatica was named a Visionary in the inaugural 2006 Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools(1). Since that time, Informatica has remained a leader in data quality and has helped countless organizations tackle some of the most complex use cases in the market.
I’m proud to announce that for the eleventh year in a row, Informatica has been named by Gartner as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for 2017 Data Quality Tools(2).
This year is particularly special for our product line. We’ve taken huge leaps forward in technology, integration, and partnerships. We’ve built out a cloud based data quality tool, Cloud DQ Radar, to ensure that your cloud apps are powered with reliable data. We’ve added a new information governance solution with Informatica Axon to ensure that your data governance programs run effectively. We’ve also integrated Informatica Data Quality and Axon together so that you can fully leverage the best of both worlds. And we’ve extended our partnership network to make it easier for you to work with us and our tools across your enterprise.
For those unfamiliar with the Magic Quadrant, the report utilizes a variety of sources including a formal briefing, capabilities questionnaire and customer surveys. Vendors are then plotted across two axes. Gartner has positioned us with the highest and furthest overall position for our ability to execute and completeness of vision.
We hope that you’ll take a moment and download your complimentary copy of this report. You can click on the link, Gartner’s 2017 Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools, Q4 2017.
I would also like to take this moment to thank our customers, for without all of you, this great honor wouldn’t be possible. Many of you such as Geisinger Health, PayPal, McGraw Hill Education, Merck, Sharp Healthcare and more have helped to tell your story through a webinar. I hope that each of you will take a moment, hear their stories and see the power that trusted, governed data, from a Leader, can bring to your organization so that you can out-perform the competition.
