Data Quality: Self-Service Advancements for a Hybrid World
Last week, my colleagues and I joined together to give you a sneak-peek at the latest updates to Data Quality, PowerCenter, and Data Integration Hub with version 10.2. If you missed the webinar, I’d encourage you to take a moment and watch the replay. We showcased the latest advancements and how they will help you with some of your biggest initiatives. Here are some of the biggest themes to come in the latest release of Data Quality:
Hybrid Data Quality for Marketing and Sales Data
During the webinar, we showcased some of our advancements in the world of data quality for the cloud. With the latest release of Cloud Data Quality Radar, we are bringing our core data quality functionality and applying it to Marketo to analyze your marketing data. With this innovative tool, you can now assess the quality of all your Marketo lead data. In one simple interface, you’re able to see if your data is reliable and if that data is the kind of data that you can build a successful campaign around. If the data is bad, Cloud DQ Radar will also enable your team to identify the events that led to it being of poor quality. If you haven’t seen Cloud Data Quality Radar in action, check out the webinar where our team will walk you through the easy-to-use interface.
Self-Service Advancements Enable Data Governance
Also in the webinar, we shared how you can use Data Quality to ensure that the right data stewards are involved in the right tasks. With dynamic task distribution, your team can ensure the teams that need to be involved, are involved. And, you can increase collaboration with new deployable rule specifications– allowing business users to define rules and IT users to execute precisely the way that the rules were designed.
