Gartner Ranks Informatica as the Number One iPaaS Solution Provider Again!

Informatica has also been placed in the Leaders quadrant of Gartner’s March 2017 “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service,” for the fourth year in a row — and Gartner has placed us highest on the axis for “Ability to Execute” and farthest to the right on the axis for “Completeness of Vision this year.”

At Informatica, we redefine the next-generation Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) with the only intelligent platform powered by meta-data and machine learning for any type of integration use cases across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments. Our success is clear from our other market-leading stats:

  • 7000 iPaaS customers
  • 22 billion transactions per day, with 100 percent year-over-year transaction growth rate
  • 1.5 million integration jobs daily
  • 25K+ citizen integrators
  • 100’s of iPaaS integration templates and connectors for every leading data source, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and on-premises

Informatica’s iPaaS platform is designed for all types of users, with a cloud-based UI that includes point-and-click data wizards and data prep functions for citizen integrators, LOB users, analysts and SaaS admins as well as a graphical designer that enables architects, integration developers and IT managers to create sophisticated integration workflows.

Built on a micro services architecture, Informatica’s iPaaS enables zero down-time upgrades and multi-tenant execution of globally distributed deployments. Its unique security and metadata capabilities maintain data and process integrity across data flows in a hybrid architecture to ensure a smooth transition from on-premises to hybrid and cloud-first environments. Large organizations can leverage its flexible deployment architecture to complement traditional on-premises integration tools like Informatica PowerCenter, while smaller companies that are more cloud-first can easily adopt an iPaaS-centric approach to data and application integration.

Enterprises use Informatica’s iPaaS for their most important projects, from SaaS integration, cloud analytics, and data warehousing to hybrid cloud data management and real-time process orchestration. Built to support any iPaaS integration patterns and provide comprehensive data management, Informatica’s iPaaS is designed to enable additional capabilities and access to different types of users in a modular way to keep pace with evolving needs across multiple cloud and on-premises landscapes.

Informatica’s iPaaS supports data connectivity for every major cloud ecosystem and on-premises enterprise system, including SaaS, PaaS, mobile, big data, IoT, ERP, cloud data warehouses and cloud databases. With the broadest range of native iPaaS solutions for the major cloud ecosystems, Informatica uniquely delivers iPaaS capabilities for companies that are investing in public clouds for databases, data warehouses and elastic computing services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure; for SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Marketo, Workday, Ultimate Software, Adobe, and NetSuite; and for cloud analytics such as Tableau.
