Dreamforce 2016 is under way! For many attendees, this is the primary Cloud and Tech conference where they get to see all the latest innovations from Salesforce and their partner ecosystem.

Informatica has been working with Salesforce for more than 10 years, starting with 2006 when Marc Benioff was the keynote speaker at Informatica World. The two companies now have more than 5,000 joint customers. Informatica helps power all of these customer’s Salesforce Clouds, from Sales and Service, to Marketing, Wave Analytics and Financial Services Cloud, and now IoT Cloud and Commerce Cloud, just to name a few.

Informatica helps Salesforce customers address their integration and data management challenges. This is especially helpful as their Salesforce footprint grows to multiple instances. We help their Salesforce Clouds incorporate and integrate trusted business data from other cloud applications (such as NetSuite, Workday, SAP, Oracle). We help their Salesforce Clouds to seamlessly interact with mission critical analytics solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Tableau. With Informatica’s tailored solutions to optimize data for a customer’s Salesforce Clouds, these joint customers get a faster time to value and higher ROI on their cloud investments.

For this year’s Dreamforce, one of Informatica’s major announcements was our new Informatica Cloud Data Quality Radar solution that puts self-service data quality in the hands of every Salesforce user to identify, fix and monitor their data in Salesforce. We also launched a new Informatica solution for small to mid-size companies which makes it even easier to get your Salesforce Cloud up and running with the data you need.

Informatica has 2 great customers speaking at Dreamforce 2016:

  1. SendGrid provides a highly scalable email platform that delivers each month over 25 billion transactional and marketing emails on behalf of many of your favorite brands, including Uber, Airbnb, Spotify, Foursquare and NextDoor. SendGrid’s business analysts use Informatica data integration to integrate and clean data from Salesforce and other cloud apps such as Marketo, ZenDesk and Jira into Amazon Redshift and then consumed in Looker to provide a foundational view of customer, product, revenue, and email volume and usage data that can be used for dashboards, data mining and benchmarking reports.
  2. Crawford and Company is one of the world’s largest providers of claims management solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities. They use Informatica Cloud Customer 360 which is a native Force.com app and Informatica Cloud Data Integration to manage their data requirements for their front office operations which include Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud. With Informatica, Crawford was able to easily integrate their Salesforce clouds with multiple data sources such as Oracle PeopleSoft, legacy customer service and financial systems. Additionally, Crawford was able to ensure their Salesforce data was clean, trustworthy and validated for key business objects (e.g. email, address, contact, account) across multiple Salesforce Clouds resulting in improved customer retention and better ability to cross-sell.
