The Power of Partnerships
Partners have long been a key part of Informatica’s go-to-market strategy and much like the customers and industries we serve, our partner programs, strategy and go-to-market motion are going through a transformation. The investments and changes we are making are designed to help grow your business, drive revenue and profit and increase value for both you and your customers. Here are some of the highlights:
- Lou Attanasio joined Informatica in May as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer. Lou is a long-time sales leader who brings a leadership track record of disciplined, consistent growth from IBM. Lou is responsible for leading our global sales and services efforts across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ, including the partner ecosystem and channels team. Lou has deep experience across multiple software markets, geographies, and go-to-market models. Most recently, he was General Manager, Global Sales for IBM’s high-growth and strategic Hybrid Cloud Portfolio. The portfolio included Application Development, Deployment and Management, Application Services and Bluemix. In his 30+ year career at IBM, Lou has held a number of executive roles across several lines of business including middleware and infrastructure software.
- I joined Informatica in May to lead Global Partner Marketing to help you plan and execute digital marketing programs that drive leads, pipeline and accelerate revenue for your solutions. I’m also committed to deliver a consistent cadence of communication to you, beginning with this blog, but also with a partner success webcast series and regular updates on our Partner Activity and Resource Center (PARC). Hear my views on why it’s an awesome time to be an Informatica partner.
- New Channel Bundles: In June, we launched seven new channel bundle solutions exclusively to be sold by partners. These subscription-only solutions represent significant cost savings for customers and provide you with extremely attractive margins. More importantly, they are designed to help you build a profitable, recurring revenue stream with Informatica. Hear all about them here and start driving leads with a customized marketing program.
- Training and Enablement: The key to mutual success is mutual investment. To that end, we’re launching a substantial amount of new training and enablement materials for partners. Across sales, technical, implementation and support. We’ve revamped our education framework with new learning paths and role based learning. And we’ve got almost 40 technical enablement web sessions available via Informatica Straight Scoops and the new Informatica Partner Learning Series (IPLs).
