You have a huge challenge ahead of you to ensure you pick right vendor.

Gartner announced its Magic Quadrant for MDM of customer data solutions last week. I am very excited to tell you that Informatica MDM was positioned as a clear leader in both vision and ability to execute. Get your copy of the new report here.

This report is a testimonial to our strength. Let me also elaborate a bit more about four things that are imperative to all the innovations we are doing here at Informatica.

Complete package for your Success

From our experience, we have seen that many customers who look for MDM solutions are also looking for data integration, data quality and data enrichment services. In the release we did last year, we bought these capabilities together that provide our customers everything they need to drive maximum business value from MDM. Powered by Informatica’s Intelligent Data Platform, which is central to all our product lines, we are now in the best position to serve our customers a complete package that guarantees success.

Additionally, we also embedded Informatica BPM, and created business user focused user interfaces that are designed to address new paradigm we are seeing in today’s digital workplace. Data breaches are keeping business executives awake at night. To address this very important problem, we embedded Informatica Dynamic Data Masking with a focus on data security. This allows you to protect sensitive information about your customers, patients, suppliers etc., ensuring your data is safe and secure.

Master data-fueled applications

Bringing our core capabilities together under one platform allowed us to create something amazing; we call them master data-fueled applications. These applications are designed for the age of engagement we live in today and are built on top of powerful Informatica MDM to address specific industry needs and use cases. This revolutionary new approach designed for key business processes such as client onboarding with Customer 360, new product introduction with Product 360, vendor management with Supplier 360 and Cloud Customer 360 for Salesforce provide complete and authoritative views of the relationship insights across people, places, and things.

These apps are also designed to ensure you are successful in your business-led initiatives and come with the pre-built data model. Underpinned by the Informatica Intelligent Data Platform and MDM architecture, they empower organizations with a unified user experience, inherent data quality and business process management functionality, rapid, intelligent search, and metadata management.

Next-Gen MDM for the future

Informatica MDM has grown over the years as the technologies have evolved. Bringing MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Integration powered by Intelligent Data Platform is a great example where we were the first to deliver a complete solution. As we move to the age of engagement, we are in best position to move with you. Our next-generation MDM solution is rising to the challenge and delivers master data management for the big data world.

Later this month, we are releasing latest version of our multi-domain MDM platform that will enhance the business and data steward experience with:

  • A flexible and powerful user interface, with rich new page layouts that make it easier to view, add and update business-critical data and relationships.
  • Intelligent, high-performance search, with auto suggestions for locating data quickly and intuitively.
  • Enhanced collaboration, with intelligent task management that enables data stewards to collaborate more effectively.

    Hi There,

Thank you. Absolutely perfect! I was SOOOOO excited after seeing the
    blog and these instructions were
absolutely wonderful! You’re a life saver!

Thanks for the link to the guides I stumbled upon those a few
days/weeks ago. However, I have not found a section that shows how to
actually create the source/output. The guides seem to skip to the middle
of actually using the Parser and not explaining the basics. Some of the
guides say “use an unformatted source” but do not say how to create
the unformatted source. What page do you see information on creating a
source that works with the HL7 parser?

    Appreciate
your effort for making such useful blogs and helping the community.

    Many Thanks,
    Naresh Patnaik
