Not literally, but very close!
Just a couple months ago, I was giving United Airlines credit for some proactive customer service but now another major airline went the other way and let me down. Here’s what happened:
I was scheduled to fly from San Jose to Dallas/Ft. Worth on Tuesday evening. My flight was canceled because of bad weather in Dallas (crazy bad – under 20 degrees with snow/ice). For this, I don’t begrudge the airline. In fact, it was 60 degrees and sunny in San Jose, so I was quite happy to stay in my hometown.
The voice mail said my flight was canceled and they automatically put me on another flight the next day. Seems OK, right?
