Bertrand Cariou
Bertrand works for the Data Integration Business Unit in Product Management. He focuses on evangelizing Informatica’s platform usage in the broader Data Integration space to support operational data integration use cases such as Data Integration for applications, data replication, data delivered as a service and data quality firewalls.

Prior to Informatica he co-founded the Informatica distributor office in France in 1998, leading the technical direction and execution of the company. In 2002 Informatica acquired the distributor to become the direct sales presence in France. Bertrand moved to Informatica’s US headquarters in 2008 to lead global efforts to evangelize Informatica platform usage in the Operational Data Integration market.

Bertrand has almost 20 years in the computer industry with a background in computer science, software and electronics. He has worked as a developer and project manager in counter-measure systems for fighter jets then transitioned in to the software industry. Bertrand has also worked as an expert evangelizing Microsoft MS SQLServer in the early days and published a book on the topic.
