With all the chatter on the state of business and IT alignment, it is an opportune time for us to rethink the real-world implications of collaborative data integration. I was fortunate enough to be in a meeting when an Informatica customer articulated the challenges of spending way too much time managing the manual voting and approval processes for business terms and definitions. They told us exactly what they wanted to see as part of the business glossary. It is great to see how that precious feedback is now in action and making a difference. It is one of our best kept secrets.
