"Something is Finally Shaking Loose in the Ongoing Challenge of Data Services and SOA"

In my earlier posts, you have heard me talk a lot about the data integration challenges of SOA and BPM and the need for right-time data integration.
Loraine Lawson recently wrote a post titled So, Ah…What About the Data? on her blog at IT Business Edge. In her post, Loraine is referring to my webinar on this subject that was covered in great detail here by Joe McKendrick.
To quote Loraine, “McKendrick’s piece suggests to me something is finally shaking loose in the ongoing challenge of data services and SOA.” The discussions that are getting precipitated is testimony in itself that there is a real need for flexibly enabling sophisticated data integration before IT organizations can start realizing the benefits that these architectures and technologies promise, to deliver business agility.
