Informatica at EMC World – Where Big Data Needs Integration

This week the EMC World 2012 conference is taking place in Las Vegas.  Informatica is participating as a partner continuing its commitment to the EMC Select Partnership for the Informatica ILM and MDM solutions.   Informatica has continued to expand its partnership to include support for its Greenplum Hadoop distribution – mostly to support organizations needs for big data integration while making big data manageable and secure.

Big Data Integration

More recently, Informatica has added the ability to perform real-time and near-real-time Greenplum data warehousing with Informatica Ultra Messaging and Informatica Data Replication.  Informatica has proven accelerated data loading with Informatica Fast Clone and seamless data integration with Informatica PowerExchange for Greenplum.

Making Big Data Manageable

EMC IT has leveraged Informatica Data Archive to realize over $1 Million in savings by retiring legacy applications to an archive running on EMC Centera.  Organizations that are looking to make room by opening up budget to implement new analytics platforms may find their case study compelling, considering how much is spent on maintaining legacy systems.

Making Big Data Secure

Informatica’s Data Privacy suite complements any security solution by ensuring data is protected from unauthorized access to sensitive data – whether it is stored on EMC storage for production or non-production applications.
