Getting Ready For Dreamforce 2010

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, it’s hard not to know that the annual salesforce.com Dreamforce conference is just around the corner. There are ads on NPR. There was even a full page ad congratulating the Giants that offered free keynote and expo passes – nice touch! The conference is being billed as “The Cloud Computing Event of the Year” and with over twenty thousand people expected to be at the Moscone Center from December 6-9th (along with Bill Clinton, Stevie Wonder and a few surprise guests),  I think it will live up to the expectations.

Informatica will also have a major presence at this year’s event. As a Gold Sponsor, we will be showcasing the ease of use and platform power of Informatica Cloud as well as featuring new plug-and-play MDM data controls at Booth #500.

If you have a full conference pass, be sure to login to the Dreamforce Chatter implementation and join our customer group (simply search for Informatica). Three Informatica Cloud customers - TransUnion, Life Time Fitness and Toshiba, will also be speaking in a session for sales operations, administrators and IT roles that focuses on the benefits of self-service cloud integration:

  • Cloud Integration – Accelerate Salesforce Adoption and ROI
  • Track: Sales
  • Tue, Dec 7th at 2:15 PM
  • Room : West 2007

We’ll also be demonstrating many of the Informatica Cloud Plug-ins now available on the Marketplace as well as participating in a number of activities with our partners Dun & Bradstreet, Astadia, Model Metrics, Accenture, BigMachines, Silverline, StrikeIron and others. It’s going to be a great event!

And speaking of Salesforce, Chatter, and the importance of cloud integration, check out this new demonstration on the Informatica Cloud YouTube Channel that shows a Chatter feed being updated with Oracle EBS order status information and let us know what you think:
