Ivan Chong
Neil Gow is based in Sydney, Australia and is one of Informatica’s senior solution consultants specializing in data quality. Neil is a highly experienced data management practitioner with over 15 years IT experience, including six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a lead data management consultant.

In his time at the coalface of the data management business Neil has seen how poor data quality can upset the best laid plans of all types of organization. Much of his work in recent years has involved developing methodologies, and applying technology and business process solutions to organizations to solve their data quality problems. His other speciality is data migration which any practitioner will tell you is as much about data quality as anything else. Neil has worked on a significant number of high profile and complex migration projects around the world, including in the UK, South Africa, Europe and Australia.

Despite his many years in senior roles, Neil retains a "hands-on" technical proficiency and has no fear of getting his hands dirty by diving into IT infrastructures, database platforms, structures and tools. He also has a thorough understanding of both the strengths and limitations of many internationally recognised project and risk management methodologies such as Prince, GDPM, SSADM and Ascendant.
